youth@work is the young-adult counterpart to the Employment Connection, dedicated to helping young adults not attending a secondary or post-secondary school, ages 16–24, prepare for and succeed in today's workforce. For more than 20 years, youth@work and the Employment Connection have served Tulare County residents as part of the American Job Center of California (AJCC) Network, partnering with more than 19 local organizations to provide employment, training, and supportive resources to our community.

We serve young adults throughout Tulare County by providing career guidance, hands-on work experience, education support, and the tools needed to explore career pathways and connect with job opportunities. Whether you want to connect to educational opportunities or need help finding your first job, youth@work helps young adults gain the skills and confidence to take their next step.

As part of the AJCC system, we offer Veterans and Eligible Spouses Priority of Service.
